My Path, My Journey
From the vibrant city of Haifa to traveling the world, my journey has been a kaleidoscope of creative pursuits, cultural exploration, and a passionate commitment to fostering connections. I'm Nancy, a Palestinian woman with a passion for advocacy, music, and art. Let me share a bit about the journey that has shaped who I am today.
As a child, I was drawn to the world of performance. Ballet, gymnastics, Flamenco, hip hop, and even capoeira—all these dance forms became a part of my journey. Yet, it was the classical piano that truly struck a chord in my heart, shaping my days in a music conservatory where I delved into music theory, harmony, composition, vocal lessons and choir singing from age 5 till 15.
As the youngest in my class, leadership seemed to find its way to me effortlessly. Class president, not for popularity, but for the joy of bringing creative ideas to life. Middle school days were a mix of daydreaming in class, writing song lyrics, and doodling visions of my future. Creativity was not just a passion; it was a way of life.
At 18, I found myself at a crossroads, contemplating my future after high school. A Netflix binge introduced me to the world of stage and costume design through the show "Abstract." This revelation led me to Tel Aviv University, where I applied, got accepted, and, five years later, graduated with both a bachelor's and master's degree in stage and set design.
Balancing the backstage world with the lingering dream of becoming a singer and musician, I continue to navigate the complexities and joys of both realms. The curtains of my life rise and fall on the stages I design, the performances that I manage, the melodies I create, and the ongoing exploration of the world's beauty.
Beyond my creative endeavors lies a love for nature, hiking, and camping. A dream of traversing Europe in a campervan and a recent foray into climbing and bouldering add new dimensions to the tapestry of my life.
Join me in this eclectic journey of advocacy, music, art, and exploration—a journey that continues to unfold with each passing day.
